- They are all cut and sewn in Belgium by the DeClercq family who started the business in 1898, 125 years ago. Victor Declercq was a fabric trader, who set up the cap workshop.
- The caps are all made by hand, by the same family that founded the company in Belgium.
- They are made near BRUGES, ( pronounced Bruge, like “rouge” ) in a town called Ardooie. Many people will know Bruges, as it’s very touristic with canals.
- We select the fabrics and match them to the cap bodies, rather than buying from already chosen finished product. This means they are all cut and sewn to our specifications, creating the possibility of having caps that will not be found in any other shops worldwide!
