Our Guarantee

First Street Leather guarantees every item that we sell will be free from manufacturing defects and will provide enjoyment to you throughout the useful life of the product.

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with a purchase made from First Street Leather, we invite you to call us at 1-888-688-5215 and we will work with you to find the best possible solution for your satisfaction.

Returns and Exchanges

First Street Leather accepts returns and exchanges at our retail locations as well as through the mail.

Returns are accepted only with an RA number. Please call 1-888-688-5215 to obtain an RA number. You will be asked for a daytime phone number, what you are sending in and why, and what you would like to have happen.

All Return Merchandise Authorization Number are valid for 10 days only. This means that we must receive your return within 10 days of issuing your RA number.

Returns are accepted within 365 days of purchase date for all footwear, handbag, backpack, belt, wallet, small leather goods and non-fur head wear category products. Returns are accepted within 30 days for all other product categories, including but not limited to fur products and fur garment, fur head wear, fur accessory, leather garment, sheepskin garment, suede garment, and woolen garment category products. Product must be in new, unused condition with original tags still attached and be packaged in the original packing or protective bag. The outer box used to ship the product to you may be replaced with an alternate box for return purposes or may be reused if it is in acceptable condition for re-use.

Product that has been used or with the tags removed may not be returned for credit or refund, unless it is defective.

Shipping, cleaning and alteration charges are non-refundable.

A 15% Restocking Fee will be applied to all NON DEFECT returns for refund. We will waive the restocking fee on exchanges or returns for store credit.

All returns must be shipped freight prepaid and with a tracking number. We do not accept COD or freight collect shipments.

Shipping and insurance are fees that are paid to the shipping and insurance companies, not to First Street Leather, and are therefore are non-refundable.

The return/exchange value is determined by the last retail price. Please provide a copy of your receipt for a full refund; without a receipt we will issue a Gift Certificate.

Gift certificates are not returnable for refund.

Please include a note with your name, return address, daytime phone number, what you are sending in and why, and what you would like to have happen. Please be sure to ship the package with a carrier that can provide tracking and insurance.

Typical turnaround time, with shipping, is about four weeks. However, you can cut that down to about a week by using expedited shipping (two-day service or similar); we will ship the package back to you in the same manner.

Refunds are made via Gift Certificate or in like tender to that which was used for payment. If the original purchase was made with a credit card, we will credit the same credit card for the returned item(s). If your purchase was by check or cash in one of our stores, our accounting department will issue a refund check.
