This Sueded MICRO FIBER Jacket from our friends at DAMSELLE is so well done that customers who see it in the shop are amazed that you can actually use a suede jacket as a raincoat, not realizing that this "suede" jacket is in fact not a suede jacket at all, but rather a high tech MICRO FIBER jacket with a great sueded finish. Being micro fiber, it resists wrinkles, is very lightweight (38 ounces + or -), and is water repellant. Lined with Dupont's high tech "Thermolite," it is also very cozy and warm, without the bulk that comes with a low tech, regular "polyfill." The luxurious, full skin, fox trimmed hood detaches with the aid of a hidden zipper, and leaves no trace of itself when detached. Enlarge the photo and note the drawstring waist detail for perfect fit.
Great for travel, it affords much protection from cold and precipitation, and is both very light, and not bulky- very pack-able. Available in toast and champagne. Call about black

WE call it the 'hip-zip' because of the great fitting zipper detail on the hips, but it really has the feel of a country jean jacket, with its fitted shape, front yoke detailing, and sewn in 'belt' across the lower back. Seen here in gold, or 'palomino' lamb nubuck,( see "ALL ABOUT LEATHER" in the left margin tabs for explanations of nubuck versus suede, etc.), the Hip- Zip becomes very special in both mocha lamb nubuck and gold lamb nubuck.

A miracle of modern tanning, this jacket is made from skins that are tanned on BOTH SIDES. Both the inside and outside are smooth and clean, and being unlined, this zip- front 'blazer' is very, very light and comfortable. And yes, it does have pockets.
Hand lacing highlights the vintage finish, and raw edge construction. A great jacket for today- and tomorrow.

Fresh is the word for this 30" blazer from Rocco D'amilio in New York. A hand sewn 'pic stitch' frames the clean, notch free lapel, and borders the hem line all the way down the front. The finished hem of the easy to fit turn cuff is also framed with a hand detailed 'pic stitch.' The on seam pockets are clean and 'invisible.' The fit is long and slender. The notch free lapel can turn in, creating an almost Mandarin look.
